This is a place for the enthusiasts of textiles art and history.

Textiles have been part of my life for over 25 years and I love all these things: fabrics, garments, patterns, stitches, volumes, embroidery, seams, trimmings, etc.

I started to work officially in textile field with a qualification in tailoring, obtained in 1993. Then for the next 17 years I worked as a tailor, pattern maker and head of a creative workshop to a romanian fashion brand. During this period I continued to study, enriching my knowledge in the textile field.

10 years ago the passion for traditional textiles generated two parallel activities: independent activity of specialized design and collection of textile object. I started collecting old textile pieces for research and reconstructed. Also, I study the evolution of the needlework techniques and the cultural interference which determined the dynamics in the textile field.

In the last three years I dedicated my self to cultural heritage studies, being motivated by the desire to give my passion a scientific purpose.
